Hi Morgan, tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hi my name is Morgan and I am The Doggy Barber. Like many of you dogs are a huge part of my life and after growing up with them 10 years ago me and my partner got our own dog, a Cocker Spaniel called Trouble. Now hindsight says don’t name your dog Trouble … he will be but we love him all the same.

Trouble soon grew the biggest coat I had seen so I tried my hand at grooming him and absolutely loved it! Soon after that I attended night school to get my city and guilds level two in dog grooming. Following this I gave up my day job and became a grooming assistant at a local grooming salon. It was there I studied for my Level 3 in dog grooming and gained a broad range of experience.

In 2020 I started The Doggy Barbers running it from a table in my garden and a handmade wooden sign on the gateway. Now The Doggy Barbers is run from a fully equipped luxurious grooming trailer bringing the salon to your door!

Tell us a little bit more about how you started with Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning.

It took me two years to finally take the leap into Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning because I was skeptical about the results. But something Anastasia said during the intro training really stuck with me. She shared how she bought her first toothbrush to clean her own dog’s teeth, and if it worked, it would have saved her a huge vet bill and her dog the stress of anesthesia. Once I started using the toothbrush, word quickly spread, and clients began requesting teeth cleaning all the time. Now, not only do my customers have great dental health, but nearly 15% of my income comes from teeth cleaning— a huge boost for me as a part-time groomer!
