Hi Millie, tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m a 19 year old dog groomer and I’ve been grooming for 4 years! Growing up I had dropped out of secondary school due to my anxiety disorder & didn’t really see much in the future for myself. This has really opened new doors for me and helped me gain confidence not only in myself, but in work aswell! I have a new level of knowledge I can give to customers, and a new level of knowledge I can use to keep the dogs welfare at the top of my priority list! I became a dog groomer at the age of 15 by bathing dogs for my local salon! From there I moved to a different salon and learnt how to style dogs! Since then I’ve trained in k9 first aid, k9 behaviour, level 3 grooming and of course the emi pet teeth cleaning! I spend most my days working, looking after my horse and exploring with my two dogs.

Tell us a little bit more about how you started with Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning.

I found Emmi-Pet through The Dog Tooth Fairy on Facebook and it’s been life changing! Since completing the course I’ve opened my own business away from grooming that solely offers teeth cleaning and it’s been a massive success! I started offering Emmi-Pet from my back garden! Years ago my grandad built a little summer house for me and it’s became the perfect space for me to create my little salon! And of course the logo came from my gorgeous Frenchie Claude. I started on Facebook posting in local groups and soon built my client base from there! I’ve met so many lovely dogs and owners who love Emmi-Pet just as much as me! Emmi-Pet has offered me a new way to make income for myself and offered me a new way of life! I can juggle my weekly jobs & hobbies and work teeth cleaning around this with ease.
